Pokemon Ghost Black ReTold

Pokemon Ghost Black ReTold is a visual novel based on the "Creepy Pokemon Hack" story on Player's Pulse via Tiny Cartridge websites.

An entry into the Neoflash Coding Compo 2010.

Read the readme.txt for more information.

I urge you to use a real Nintendo DS and a flash cart for the best experience. Emulators only if you're desperate - the game is a bit flaky in an emu.

WOW. As if the story wasn't mind-blowing enough, this new ending was great, and literally sent shivers through my skin.

    Great mod/hack

Wow -- I can honestly say, "this is the GREATEST homebrew I have fired up on my flashcart!" Really, it's up there. I loved the original Pokemon Red & Blue. This is a wonderfully, horrid twist. Might I add, the ending was down-right scary; the hairs on my neck were standing! LOVE IT. 11 out of 10 stars!

I've played it several times on an emulator, and although the ending wasn't the same, it left me crying each time. I don't know why.
The first time I felt creeped-out, but each other time I played it, I didn't feel scared or sad... I just started crying. I never cry...

Would i need a DS to play this or can i use my computer?

    Anonymous says:

It's better if you play it on a real DS, but if not, you can use any emulator on your computer.

    Anonymous says:

Of course, when I say "any emulator" I mean any DS emulator obviously :)

Oh, WOW. Great job on this!

Since I knew the story already, I didn't expect to be freaked out by this retelling.

But OMG that ending! That ending scared me. As in, afraid-of-the-dark scared. And I don't scare that easily.

    Bravo!

Cool thing is I have an actual Game boy Colour cartridge for Pokemon black and a working game boy Colour I have to admit it is a hell of a lot more scary when you play it on gbc.
